Twisted in Atlanta

Last month I had the opportunity to attend the MIS Conference in Atlanta along with 3 of my colleagues from DOE. This is annual event is held in a different location each February and I have been lucky enough to be able to attend the past four years. This year I also presented one of the sessions, Website Accessibility: Tips and Tools.

The bonus of attending these conferences is the opportunity to be out of the office for a few days and to visit a new city. This was my first visit to Atlanta (other than the airport). Cheryl’s ex-roommate Amanda lives there and took us around some hot spots on our last night. The photo is us at the Twisted Taco where we enjoyed many frosty beverages. She wanted to take us around to several other hot spots but everything was closed or closing due to a tornado watch!
